Registration and renewal of business permits are currently ongoing and can be done online for the thousands of entrepreneurs in the City of Dumaguete through the eBusiness Permit and Licensing System (eBPLS) until January 30, 2023.
Applicants for Business permits and licenses are advised to follow these steps:
1. Log-on
to create an account, fill in all information and upload all required documents before pressing the SUBMIT icon.
2. Pay the tax obligation and fees before the City Treasurer’s Office.
3. Claim business permit or license before the City Administrator’s Office and present all hard copies of the uploaded documents for verification.

Mayor Felipe Antonio B. Remollo has approved the implementation of eBPLS through the Office of City Administrator Lilani L. Ramon to streamline government transactions, reduce red tape, eliminate malfeasance, improve the ease of doing business and attract more investments.
Dumaguete City’s eBPLS is a web-based, paperless and simplified system with enough security features so that all deficiencies will be noted and prompt correction of both the agency and applicant concerned will be facilitated.
