About 57 vacant stalls/booths in the City Public Market are now vacant and can be leased by interested and qualified applicants per advisory of City Administrator Lilani L. Ramon, who is also Chairperson of the Market Committee.
There are available vacant stalls/booths in the Painitan, fruits and vegetables, eatery, dry goods, meat, fish, lato and carinderia sections (to include office spaces).
Any person, who is 18-years-old and above on January 9-10, 2023, and who is not legally incapacitated, desiring to lease the vacant stall/booth, shall file an application therefore on the prescribed forms (copies may be obtained from the Office of the City Treasurer at P 50.00 fee during office hours).
Interested applicants shall secure an endorsement letter from the City Economic Enterprise Officer Engr. Jose Ronnie A. Fortin, addressed to the City Treasurer confirming that the said applicant is legally qualified to lease (preferred Filipino citizen and Dumaguete City resident to bring COMELEC I D or certification, Barangay Certification and vaccine card) the above-mentioned vacant space/stall in the Dumaguete City Public Market.
In case there is more than one applicant, the award of the lease of the vacant stall/booth shall be determined thru drawing of lots to be conducted on January 9-10, 2023 at 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The last day of accepting applicants will be on January 6, 2023 at 12:00 NN.
