Mayor Felipe Antonio B. Remollo congratulates the winners and participants to the Dumaguete Skateboarding Competition held last Saturday in Burgos Street as part of the 74th Charter Anniversary and 402nd fiesta celebration of the city.
The competition featured skateboarders performing a series of daring flip tricks to display their skills and mastery of an outdoor sport that is increasingly becoming popular among the residents of this city.
Among the winners of the competition are:

The youth in particular have acquired skateboarding as a sports hobby and authorities underscore the importance for skateboarders to use protective gears and avoid busy streets to remain safe from injuries.
