Dumaguete City Traffic and Management Office Chief Gilbert Ablong notifies the riding public that movement of traffic in several streets and peripheries of the different public, private cemeteries and memorial parks will be adjusted to manage the anticipated influx of crowd in observance of the All Saints Day and All Souls Day on November 1 and 2, 2022 from 6:00AM to 8:00PM, as follows:
TO BAGACAY PUBLIC CEMETERY
1. ONE WAY TRAFFIC DIRECTION for all types of motor vehicles along the whole stretch of Dap Dap Road, from Bagacay Bridge up to junction Romero Road (Valencia Road);
2. ONE WAY TRAFFIC DIRECTION for all types of motor vehicles along a portion of Balugo-Cadawinonan-Bagacay Road, from Bagacay Bridge up to junction Korean Church.
TO MEMORIAL PARK & BOGO CEMETERIES
1. ONE-WAY TRAFFIC DIRECTION FOR ALL TYPES OF MOTOR VEHICLES along a portion of San Jose Extension, from junction De La Viña Street up to junction Larena Drive;
2. The northern portion of Bogo Road is declared a No Parking side
3. All motor vehicles from the northern portion of Memorial Park or Bogo Cemetery are advised to take De La Viña Street via EJ. Blanco Extension in going to the said cemeteries;
4. All motor vehicles from the southern portion of Memorial Park or Bogo Cemeteries are advised to take Espina Street (Bag-ong Dalan) in going to the said cemeteries;
TO CHINESE CEMETERY
1. ONE-WAY TRAFFIC FOR ALL TYPES OF MOTOR VEHICLES in going to Chinese Cemetery, from junction Veterans Avenue up to junction Aldecoa West Drive. The northern side of the said cemetery is declared a No Parking side.
Directional Traffic Signages as guide signs to all motorists will be established in all strategic roads going to the different cemeteries of the city.
To avoid delay in travel, the riding public is advised to take the alternative routes during this celebration.
