Members and officers of the Negros Oriental Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting with the delegates from Yeongdon-gun South Korea and city government officials for closer ties, networking and exchanges in tourism, trade and employment.
Both NOCCI and the Yeongdong-gun delegates headed by Mayor Jeong Yeong Chul vowed to strengthen the business partnership along with the City Government of Dumaguete through Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo in consonance to the sisterhood agreement between the two cities.
Among the NOCCI officials present were NOCCI President Edward Du, Chairman Greg Uymatiao, Trustees Tyrone Ramas-Uypitching, Atty. Florian Alcantara, Soc Bengoechea Alcantara, Alex Rey Pal, Nonoy Del Prado with members Elsie Lee, Stella Marie Solon Du, John Villegas Jalandoni and former DTI Provincial Director Jong Fortunato, among others.
On the part of the local government aside from Mayor Remollo, Councilor Karissa Tolentino-Maxino, City Administrator Lilani Ramon and Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President Renz Macion were also in attendance.
