Dumaguete City officials hosted a fellowship dinner for the delegates of our sister city of Yeongdong-gun last night following the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement strengthening seasonal workers program and cultural ties that will benefit the citizens of both cities.
Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo and other city officials also presented the token of appreciation to Yeongdong Mayor Jeong Yeong Chul and the rest of his delegation for the historic signing of the MOA that will help sustain the wine industry of Yeongdong and provide employment to Dumaguete residents in the best farms of South Korea.
Mayor Jeong Yeong Chul also received warm messages celebrating his birthday.
Among the officials present during the event are Dumaguete City Acting Vice-Mayor Karissa Tolentino-Maxino, Councilors Marie Marife Cordova, Agustin Miguel Perdices, Bernice Elmaco, Rey Lyndon Lawas, Jose Victor Imbo, Dionie Amores, Renz Macion, City Administrator Lilani Ramon, Assistant City Administrator Dinno Depositario, the city’s first lady Atty.
