Officials and employees celebrated the inauguration of Straive Dumaguete’s Solar Facility, the first BPO company in Dumaguete City and Negros Oriental to harness energy from the sun to power its operations inside the LP IT Park Friday.
Among the invited guests present during the switch-on ceremony are Sangguniang Kabataan President Renz Macion, Deputy Mayor for Environment (representing Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo), Straive AVP for Human Resources Philippines Vince Camigala, DTI Provincial Director Nimfa Marcos Virtucio, Bascara ICT President/Inspiro Suzanne Lu, Diego Nochefranca of Department of Labor and Employment, ICT Dumaguete Executive Director Danah Fortunata and representatives from the education sector and media.
The speakers of the event Krystle Jade Bato and Engr. Alfredo Arzaga shared their passion for promoting renewable energy.
Straive employees from India, Vietnam, and the rest of the country joined the event virtually to underscore the organization’s commitment to conduct business with integrity and responsibility for a more sustainable future.
