Mayor Felipe Antonio B. Remollo, Councilor Karissa Tolentino-Maxino, Deputy Mayor for Finance; City Administrator Lilani L. Ramon, department heads and division heads attend the launching and acceptance of the integrated business and licensing system at the Electronic Business One Stop-Shop today.
Also in attendance are officials from partner agencies Director Frederick DC Amores DICT Region VII, Director Jose Carlos P. Reyes of the Government Digital Transformation Bureau and key officials of the Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Interior and Local Government and ARTA.
Mayor Remollo has approved the Implementation of eBPLS to streamline government transactions, reduce red tape, eliminate malfeasance, improve ease of doing business and attract more investments.
It is anticipated that with the full operation of the Integrated Business Permit Licensing System more business owners and taxpayers will be encouraged to apply or renew permits as they can already process them online without being physically going to the City Hall and other agencies.
