City Public Employment Service Office Manager Maria Socorro P. Mira organized a skills training for parents of child laborers as part of the intervention program so they could earn for their own families.
Councilor Karissa Tolentino-Maxino, Deputy Mayor for Livelihood, Poverty Alleviation and Women, congratulated the mothers who finished the course, which is part of the program of the City Government so that parents, particularly the women folk will be to acquire the skills that will create more livelihood opportunities among the residents.
The training was held at TeamSkills School for Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management.
