About 75 new graduates of Assemble Electronics Products NC II and Hilot Wellness NC II received their respective toolkits in simple rites today.
The 2 courses are under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority and implemented with the constant support of Mayor Felipe Antonio B. Remollo through the City Public Employment Service Office.
As representatives of Mayor Remollo, Councilor Karissa Tolentino-Maxino, Deputy Mayor for Livelihood and SK President Renz Macion, Deputy Mayor for Employment joined TESDA Provincial Director Joel M. Villagracia during the distribution of the toolkits that the graduates/beneficiaries can use for their livelihood undertakings.
Councilor Tolentino-Maxino commended TESDA for the allocation of scholarship for Dumaguete City residents and congratulated the graduates for acquiring the skills they need to earn a decent livelihood for their families.
City PESO Manager Maria Socorro Mira said that her office is ready to accept applications for those interested to undergo skills training of TESDA through the assigned blue desk officer.
