Mayor Felipe Antonio B. Remollo commends the Dumaguete City Police Station for receiving three (3) outstanding recognitions from among the police stations in Negros Oriental for cultivating harmonious and productive relations with all stakeholders to maintain peace and order for the larger community.
The awarding of the recognitions was held as part of the culmination of the 27th Police Community Relations Month Celebrations held at the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office under the command of Provincial Director Police Colonel Germano P. Mallari.
Dumaguete City Police Station is a recipient of 3 awards:
1. Outstanding Police Station of the Year in terms of Police Community Relations
2. Outstanding Junior PCO of the Year in terms of Police Community Relations (Police Lt. Col. Joeson Baquiran Parallag)
3. Outstanding Senior PNCO of the Year in terms of Police Community Relations (PEMS Orlando E. Gonzaga)
City Chief-of-Police Lt. Col. Parallag credited the constant support of the City Government of Dumaguete headed by Mayor Felipe Antonio B. Remollo, Vice-Mayor Maisa Sagarbarria and the City Councilors including the DCPS Advocacy Support Groups and the men and women of Dumaguete City Police Station for their dedication and perseverance in order to achieve the Mission and Vision of the PNP that is to serve and protect the people of Dumaguete City.
