The City Health Office confirms the recovery of 4 COVID-19 patients but 6 new cases were also reported Wednesday.
The 6 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases include a medical student, a senior citizen, a health worker and 3 others who are symptomatic but fully vaccinated.
Hence, there are now 11 active COVID-19 cases with 5, 693 recoveries and 166 deaths since the pandemic affected the city from January 30, 2020 to the present July 20, 2022.
Per guidelines, those who tested positive of COVID-19 who are fully vaccinated will be released from isolation and considered recovered 7 days after the first manifestation of symptoms and no longer symptomatic.
