Mayor Felipe Antonio B. Remollo expresses gratitude to Temasek Foundation of Singapore for the donation of 40, 000 KN95 surgical masks to the City Health Office that will greatly help in the continued implementation of the minimum health standards as Dumaguete City eases its restrictions and reopens the local economy.
The donation, which was coursed through Filinvest Land Incorporated represented by its Permit Supervisor Atty. Clifford C. Caballero and MRB-GPH-VisMin Phil Adnil N. Calumpang, is the second such contribution to the City Health Office.
Councilor Karissa Tolentino-Maxino, Dr. Benju Lito Caturay, City Population Officer Lourdes Taburaza and Noel E. Castor of the General Services Office were also present during the delivery of the surgical masks.
The surgical masks will be utilized by the health workers, frontliners and residents in the ongoing efforts to prevent and contain the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
