Government officials, employees, friends and family members gathered to witness the oath taking ceremony of the newly-elected officials of Dumaguete City and 2nd District, Negros Oriental Officials to be administered by Supreme Court Associate Justice Ricardo R. Rosario and Court of Appeals Associate Justice Mary Charlene V. Hernandez-Azura at the Presidencia.
Among those who will take their oath of office are Mayor Felipe Antonio B. Remollo, 2nd District Representative Manuel T. Sagarbarria, Vice-Mayor Ms. Isabel L. Sagarbarria, Board Member Manuel L. Sagarbarria, Board Member Woodrow S. Maquiling Sr. and City Councilor Karissa Tolentino-Maxino, Councilor Franklin D. Esmeña Jr. and Councilor Rey Lyndon T. Lawas.
Reverend Monsignor Robert A. Bongoyan, HP Diocese of Dumaguete; Reverend Leny I. Jovita of the Silliman University Church and Imam Abdul Maula Mushin of the Muslim community lead the Inter-Faith Prayer.
Singer Kyle Juliano will perform “Lipad ng Pangarap” while Ms. Windiemie Yntong will dedicate her song “When You Believe” to the newly sworn officials.
