One of the world’s largest bubble tea brands has opened a branch in Dumaguete City today.
Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo led local officials in welcoming the newly opened branch of Chatime with entrepreneurs Edward Lee, Elsie Lee and their associates.
Also present are Vice-Mayor Karissa Tolentino-Maxino, Councilors Lilani Ramon, Michael Bandal and Dionie Amores.
Mayor Remollo believes that the opening of business establishments in the city is a manifestation of the private sector’s trust in the local government for maintaining a fair and conducive business climate that will encourage more investments and create job opportunities for the people.
The 161st branch of Chatime is located beside the popular flavored French fries chain, Potato Corner at Paseo De Perdices along the Rizal Boulevard.
The management hopes to open more branches in the city and province of Negros Oriental.
Founded in Taiwan in 2005, Chatime has been providing millions of customers around the world with wide selections of freshly brewed tea–creating fun and trendy customer experience.
