About 446 families from 23 barangays whose homes were damaged by the onslaught of Typhoon Odette last December 16, 2021, duly certified by their respective barangay officials and the City Social Welfare and Development Office, will receive financial assistance from the City Government of Dumaguete tomorrow.
Mayor Felipe Antonio B. Remollo approved the release of financial assistance worth P 10, 000 for each of the 36 families whose homes were totally damaged and P 5, 000 for each of the 410 families whose homes were partially damaged by Typhoon Odette.
The following is tomorrow’s distribution schedule for the financial assistance to families whose homes were totally or partially damaged by Typhoon Odette:
8:00AM-10:00PM: Barangays Motong, Piapi, Camanjac, Poblacion 1, Balugo, Mangnao, Candau-ay, Talay and Poblacion 8
10:00AM-12:00AM: Barangays Junob, Bagacay, Cadawinonan, Pulantubig, Looc, Taclobo, Cantil-e and Bajumpandan
1:00PM-3:00PM: Barangays Calindagan, Banilad, Buñao, Daro, Poblacion 2 and Batinguel
Per recommendation of City Social Welfare and Development Officer Lilibeth Filipinas a total amount of P 2, 410, 000 has been allocated as assistance for the affected households and P 90, 000 as contingency allocation for any additional victims who will be verified and assess to be eligible to receive the aid charged to the Unexpended Local DRRM Fund/Special Trust Fund of Calendar Year 2021.
