About 560 triathletes from all over the country are participating in this year’s edition of the Dumaguete Triathlon.
Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo has provided all the necessary support and resources to ensure the success of this sports event which is staging a comeback after a 2-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Among the speakers in today’s press conference are Vice-Mayor Karissa Tolentino-Maxino, Councilor Michael Bandal, City Tourism Office Jacqueline V. Antonio, City Sports Coordinator Ike Villaflores, Coach Niño Piñero of Larga Biya, Retired Police General Rey Lyndon Lawas, Police Lt. Col. Joeson Parallag, City DRRM Officer Allen Froilan O. Cabaron II, Liga Ng mga Barangay President Dionie Amores will share the overview of the race and course routes, updates on Safety and Security plans and related matters
Now that Dumaguete City is under Alert Level 1, the authorities are asking for the enthusiastic support and cooperation of the members of the public to ensure that the 3rd Dumaguete Triathlon will be a safe and successful.
