City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla informs Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo that no new COVID-19 positive case is reported today (Friday).
Thus, the number of active COVID-19 cases remains at 3 with 5, 626 recoveries and 166 deaths since the city was affected by the pandemic from January 30, 2020 to March 18, 2022.
Two (2) of the 3 active cases, all senior citizens, are unvaccinated residents.
In an encouraging development, the 69-year-old grandmother, ovarian cancer patient, has been released from hospital confinement.
Only the 88-year-old fully vaccinated senior citizen remains in the hospital but whose condition is also being monitored by the City Health Office.
