The City Health Office will administer COVID-19 booster shots and 1st dose to both registered and walk-in clients for adults and children as Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo ordered the mobilization of resources for the National Vaccination Days Phase 4 slated March 10-12, 2022.
According to City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla, two vaccination sites are open for the Bayanihan Bakunahan tomorrow:
1. Robinson Place Dumaguete for healthy children from 5-11 years old (Pfizer)
2. Foundation University Gymnasium for healthy children from 12-17 years old (Pfizer); 1st dose adults (Sinovac) and booster (Astrazeneca and Sinovac).
Requirements to bring to the vaccination site: FOR ADULTS (1st dose) shall bring valid ID and own ballpen; FOR BOOSTER bring your vaccination card and FOR HEALTHY CHILDREN (5-11 years-old and 12-17-years-old) photocopy of birth certificate, photocopy of the valid ID of parent, but if child is accompanied by a guardian, must present a letter of authority from parent or barangay certificate and own ballpen.
Vaccination for registered and walk-in clients will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Earlier, the Department of Health discloses that Dumaguete City ranks 1st in the COVID-19 vaccination among the 25 cities and municipalities of Negros Oriental for inoculating a total of 139, 248 of its residents and workers achieving 144% of accomplishment based on the 70% target population of 96, 620 (per DOH/DILG estimate) as of February 2, 2022.
