The City’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases reports a total of 12 active COVID-19 cases in just 9 of the 30 component barangays as of Sunday, February 27, 2022.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla said that 10 active COVID-19 cases are confined in the hospitals while the 2 others are handled and monitored by the City Health Office.
Of the 12 active COVID-19 cases, 1 is a child, 6 are adults and 5 are senior citizens.
Further, 6 of the 12 COVID-19 cases were confirmed to have been vaccinated against coronavirus and will be less likely to experience severe symptoms requiring hospitalization.
