Eleven [11] newly promoted city government employees took their oaths of office in simple rites officiated by Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo today.
In approving their promotions, Mayor Remollo cited the qualifications, good track record of performance and length of service of the 11 employees along with the recommendations of their respective department heads.
Among the newly promoted employees are Delia E. Serion, Nutrition Officer III, City Health Office; Marjorie R. Umbac, Medical Technologist I, City Health Office; Romulo L. Lazalita, Accounting Clerk II, CMO-Internal Audit; Joali A. Cañete, Planning Officer III, CPDO; Eula Escober, Market Supervisor III, CEED; Michael C. Gangoso, Market Supervisor III, City Slaughterhouse; Antonio M. Orlina, Utility Foreman, CEED; Bless Saie C. Alcala, Stenographic Reporter III, City Admin (CHRO); Dolmar A. Emia, Bookbinder III, City Admin (CHRO); Richli D. Aves, Local Treasury Operations Officer III, City Treasurer’s Officer and Nenita D. Pachorro, Statistician I, CSWDO.
Mayor Remollo stressed that the LUPAD vision, in which letter “P” of said acronym stands for Professionalism in government service and good governance, gives premium to the welfare of the employees through merit-based hiring and promotion devoid of partisan considerations.
Vice-Mayor Karissa Tolentino-Maxino, City Administrator Doram Dumalagan, Assistant City Administrator and CHRO Head Dr. Dinno T. Depositario, Engr. Ronnie Fortin of CEED, City Treasurer Cristina Merced and City Population Officer Lourdes Taburaza attended the oath taking ceremony.
The promotion and regularization of other employees will be announced at the appropriate time provided they will pass the screening and selection process as prescribed by law and other regulations.
