Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo met with the representatives of the Department of Health to finalize the location of the proposed Super Family Health Clinic to be built in the LGU-owned lot in Barangay Bajumpandan, which was donated by the Ouano family to the city government.
The proposed P15 million Super Family Health Clinic will contain the following facilities and services: birthing room, x-ray room, minor surgical room, clinical laboratory, ultra-sound area, ECG area, dental clinic, pharmacy and a 2-bed ward.
Mayor Remollo also offered a space for the construction of the Provincial Health Office of the Department of Health adjacent to the Super Family Clinic to further meet the health care needs of the residents.
Yesterday’s meeting was attended by Mayor Remollo, DOH Regional HFEP Engineers Wilnar Miole and Wayne Cabanillas along with City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla, City Planning and Development Coordinator Engr. Leonides Caro and other staff.
Aside from the Super Family Health Clinic in Bajumpandan, also nearing completion is the City’s Satellite Hospital in Barangay Talay that when operational would help improve access to health services, prevent transmission of diseases and provide timely treatment and care particularly of residents in upper barangays of Talay, Junob, Balugo, Batinguel, Candau-ay, Cadawinonan, Camanjac Cantil-e and Bajumpandan
