A 101-year-old unvaccinated grandmother is among the 5 patients, who recovered from COVID-19 today.
However, the City Health Office also confirmed 3 new cases.
Presently, there are 12 active COVID-19 cases with 5, 597 recoveries and 164 deaths since the pandemic affected Dumaguete City from January 30, 2020 to February 23, 2022.
Aside from the 101-year-old grandmother, 4 others, all with comorbidities, are now cleared of COVID-19 and released from isolation.
Meanwhile, the 3 new cases include a 69-year-old colon cancer survivor and 2 residents of Barangay Daro.
Of the 12 active COVID-19 cases, 4 are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office while 8 are admitted in the hospitals.
