Five senior citizens (2 of them in their 80s) are among the 10 new COVID-19 cases confirmed by the City Health Office along with 14 new recoveries, Wednesday.
Of the 10 new cases, 5 are senior citizens, 2 children, a hospital staff and 2 persons who are symptomatic.
The number of active COVID-19 cases has dropped to 28 with 5, 553 recoveries and 160 deaths since the pandemic affected the city from January 30, 2020 to February 16, 2022.
Fourteen [14] COVID patients, who are residents of Barangays Bagacay [2], Bantayan [1], Batinguel [2], Cadawinonan [3], Calindagan [1], Camanjac [1], Junob [1], Piapi [1], Poblacion 6 [1] and Pulantubig [1] are the latest recoveries reported today.
Of the 28 active COVID cases: 15 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 8 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 2 are admitted at NOPH; 2 are confined at ACE Doctors; 2 at Holy Child Hospital and 1 at Negros Polymedic Hospital.
