A 98-year-old vaccinated grandmother is among the 29 patients, who recovered from COVID-19, as reported by the City Health Office but with 27 newly confirmed cases.
Presently, there are 75 active COVID-19 cases with 5, 451 recoveries and 156 deaths since the pandemic affected Dumaguete City from January 30, 2020 to February 9, 2022.
The 27 new COVID-19 cases are residents of Barangays Bantayan [1], Batinguel [3], Cadawinonan [5], Calindagan [1], Camanjac [1], Candau-ay [2], Cantil-e [1], Daro [2], Mangnao [3], Piapi [2], Poblacion 8 [1], Pulantubig [1], Taclobo [3] and Talay [1].
Meanwhile, those who recovered today are from Barangays Daro [4], Balugo [1], Banilad [2], Banatyan [3], Cadawinonan [1], Junob [3], Mangnao [3], Poblacion 7 [1], Tabuc-tubig [6], Taclobo [4] and Talay [1].
Of the 75 active COVID cases: 52 are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office, 22 are admitted in the hospitals and 1 case is a resident outside of Dumaguete City.
