The number of active COVID-19 cases dropped to 88 after the City Health Office reported 57 recoveries but with 5 new cases today.
The 5 new COVID-19 cases are residents of Barangay Bantayan [1], Junob [2], Looc [1] and Talay [1].
There are now 88 active COVID-19 cases with 5, 387 recoveries and 156 deaths since Dumaguete City was affected by the pandemic from January 30, 2020 to February 7, 2022.
Meanwhile, the most number of recoveries come from Barangays Batinguel [9], Taclobo [7], Banilad [6], Buñao [4], Candau-ay [4], Cantil-e [4], Piapi [3], Bantayan [3], Poblacion 1 [3], Poblacion [2], Bagacay [2], Daro [2], Looc [2], Junob [1], Mangnao [1], Poblacion 8 [1], Pulantubig [1] and Talay [1].
Of the 88 active COVID cases: 59 are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 10 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 4 are admitted at Holy Child Hospital; 4 are confined at ACE Doctors; 8 are admitted at NOPH and 3 are confined at Negros Polymedic Hospital.
