Professors of the different law schools, classmates, family and friends of the examinees are camped outside the barricade to greet the bar examinees as they emerge from the Silliman University campus after completing the 2nd and final day of the examinations.
Security was stringent around the Silliman University campus as only the examinees and authorized personnel are allowed inside the perimeter on the 1st and final day of the 2020/2021 Bar examinations that for the first time is being held in Dumaguete City.
In compliance to the request of Supreme Court Associate Justice Mario Victor F. Leonen, Chairperson of the 2020/21 Bar Examinations, Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo has provided the needed personnel and resources for traffic management, security, health protocols and the cooperation of the barangays to ensure a safe and orderly conduct of the exams.
Silliman University College of Law was selected to be one of the 28 local testing centers across the country.
Among the bar examinees are residents of Dumaguete City, neighboring towns and cities in Negros Oriental, Provinces of Siquijor, Negros Occidental, Bohol, Cebu, Zamboanga and the National Capital Region.
