The City Health Office reports 83 new COVID-19 cases with 41 recoveries based on the latest release of swab test results Wednesday.
Presently, there are 153 active COVID-19 cases with 4, 810 recoveries and 152 deaths since the pandemic affected Dumaguete City from January 30, 2020 to January 26, 2022.
Eight children (including a 2-month-old baby), 8 senior citizens and 7 health workers are among the 83 new COVID-19 cases reported today.
The 83 new cases are residents of Barangays Bagacay [2], Bajumpandan [1], Banilad [4], Bantayan [2], Batinguel [4], Cadawinonan [3], Calindagan [8], Camanjac [1], Candau-ay [8], Cantil-e [3], Daro [8], Junob [4], Looc [4], Mangnao [2], Motong [6], Piapi [6], Poblacion 1 [1], Poblacion 5 [1], Pulantubig [2], Taclobo [8] and Talay [5].
Meanwhile, among the 41 newly recovered COVID-19 patients are residents of Barangays Bagacay [2], Bajumpandan [1], Banilad [4], Bantayan [2], Batinguel [3], Cadawinonan [1], Calindagan [2], Camanjac [8], Daro [5], Junob [4], Piapi [2], Poblacion 7 [1], Tabuc-tubig [1] and Taclobo [5].
Of the 153 active COVID cases: 104 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 21 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 10 are admitted at NOPH; 2 are admitted at Negros Polymedics; 2 are confined at ACE Doctors and 13 are admitted at Holy Child Hospital.
