Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo approved the construction of 2 additional school buildings for Camanjac National High School that will cost P 10.6 million to be charged against the Special Education Fund.
The proposed 2 school buildings for Camanjac National High School, which can provide 8 additional classrooms, are among the 9 school buildings that will be constructed in the 7 public schools this year with a total project cost of P 62.2 million including the electrical upgrade for the Dumaguete City National High School worth P 1 million and improvement of covered stage at Cadawinonan Elementary School at P 500, 000.
City Schools Division Supt. Gregorio Cyrus Elejorde expressed his appreciation to Mayor Remollo for allocating significant local funding for the construction of additional school buildings to improve the delivery of classroom instruction benefitting both faculty and students.
