Forty-two (42) COVID-19 patients have already recovered as of today and shall be released from isolation.
However, 4 new cases were reported based on the results also released this Saturday.
Hence, the number of active COVID-19 cases has dropped to 128 with 4, 641 recoveries and 150 deaths since the pandemic affected the Dumaguete City from January 30, 2020 to the present January 22, 2022.
Among the 42 newly recovered patients are 2 senior citizens and 6 children who are residents of Barangays Bagacay [2], Banilad [1], Bantayan [2], Batinguel [3], Camanjac [1], Candau-ay [1], Daro [2], Junob [8], Looc [3], Mangnao [3], Piapi [8], Pulantubig [5], Tabuc-tubig [1] and Taclobo [2].
Meanwhile, the 4 new COVID-19 cases are residents of Barangays Bagacay, Bantayan, Daro and Taclobo.
Of the 128 active COVID cases: 88 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 16 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 8 are admitted at Holy Child Hospital; 7 are confined at ACE Doctors; 6 are admitted at NOPH; 2 are outside of Dumaguete and 1 is isolated at IPHO.
