In compliance to the directive of Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, all the 3 vaccination sites managed by the City Health Office will now accept walk-in clients who want to get vaccinated against COVID-19 including children (12-17 years-old) effective today.
According to City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla the vaccination sites at Robinson Place Dumaguete, Foundation University Gymnasium and Pulantubig Covered Court will accept and administer 1st dose for adults and healthy children 12-years-old to 17-years-old.
Interested residents, even those who have not registered online, can proceed to any of the 3 vaccination sites from Monday to Friday. Registration shall then be done onsite.
Requirements to bring to the vaccination site: FOR ADULTS (1st dose) shall bring valid ID and own ballpen; FOR HEALTHY CHILDREN (12-17-years-old) photocopy of birth certificate, photocopy of the valid ID of parent, but if child is accompanied by a guardian, must present a letter of authority from parent or barangay certificate and own ballpen.
Vaccination for walk-in clients will be on a first-come, first-served basis and shall continue until the supply of the vaccines last.
Meanwhile, those interested to get booster shots still needs to go to the Barangay Health Centers to be included in the list and wait for their specific schedules.
The City Health Office also confirms that the number of COVID-19 vaccinated residents has already reached more than 80% of the target population of 96, 049 (per DILG/DOH estimate) as of this week.
