The number of COVID-19 vaccinated residents has already reached 80% of the target population of 96, 049 (per DILG/DOH estimate) or 76, 916 eligible residents as of January 15, 2022.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla reported to Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City IATF MEID, that among the vaccinated residents are 75, 117 who got at least their 1st dose and the 1, 799 who were vaccinated using the single dose Janssen jabs for a total of 76, 916 residents.
Two hundred thirty-nine (239) eligible residents were vaccinated last Saturday in the 3 vaccination sites at Robinson Mall, FU Gymnasium and Pulantubig Gymnasium.
About 4, 053 residents have also received their booster shots as of January 15, 2022.
Of the 76, 916 eligible residents vaccinated with 153, 262 total doses: 2, 785 are medical frontliners or (A1); 8, 612 senior citizens (A2); 9, 260 persons with comorbidities (A3); 18, 396 frontline personnel (A4); 24, 420 indigents (A5); 9, 354 belonging to the Rest of the Adult Population and 4, 089 Pediatric (12-17 years old) were vaccinated based on the order of priority of the Department of Health.
