City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla confirms 15 new COVID-19 cases reported today based on the latest release of swab test results Tuesday.
Hence, there are now 35 active COVID-19 cases with 4, 465 recoveries and 149 deaths since the pandemic affected Dumaguete City from January 30, 2020 to January 11, 2022.
Thirteen (13) of the 15 new COVID-19 cases are vaccinated individuals including 5 senior citizens, a 7-year-old child, a person with history of travel to Bacolod City and 8 others who exhibited symptoms of Influenza Like Illness (ILI).
Of the 35 active COVID-19 cases: 27 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office, 7 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center while 1 is admitted at Holy Child Hospital.
