About 77% of the target population of 96, 049 residents (per DILG/DOH estimate) or 74, 339 eligible residents have been vaccinated against COVID-19 as of January 5, 2022.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla reported to Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, Chairperson of the City IATF MEID, that among the vaccinated residents are 72, 540 who got the 1st dose and the 1, 799 who were vaccinated using the single dose Janssen jabs for a total of 74, 339 residents.
One thousand four hundred seventy-five (1, 475) eligible residents were vaccinated last Wednesday in the 3 vaccination sites at Robinson Mall, FU Gymnasium and Pulantubig Gymnasium.
About 2, 611 residents have also received their booster shots as of January 5, 2022.
Of the 74, 339 eligible residents vaccinated with 144, 679 total doses: 2, 781 are medical frontliners or (A1); 8, 469 senior citizens (A2); 9, 251 persons with comorbidities (A3); 18, 194 frontline personnel (A4); 24, 294 indigents (A5); 8, 755 belonging to the Rest of the Adult Population and 2, 595 Pediatric (12-17 years old) were vaccinated based on the order of priority of the Department of Health.
