Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo grants hazard pay for all the 2, 284 city government employees, including 1, 620 job order workers, who rendered service while the city was placed under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine from June 16, 2021 to July 15, 2021.
Each qualified city employee will receive P 2, 500 charged to the savings of the Personal Services of the current budget.
Mayor Remollo has endorsed the funding request of P 6.4 million to the City Council through Councilor Lilani Ramon, Chairperson of the Committee on Finance and Appropriation, who will present the proposed budget during its special session, Thursday.
The P 2, 500 cash incentive is also in addition to the gifts that the Job Order workers received from the contributions of the regular and casual employees including the city officials led by Mayor Remollo and Vice-Mayor Karissa Tolentino-Maxino under the Adopt-a-JO-Program of the LGU –Dumaguete.
