Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo approved the deployment of a water tanker and vehicle to bring water and rice (from the contributions of the personnel of BFP Dumaguete) to the affected families of Typhoon ODETTE in Barangays Cabugan, Malaga and Tinaogan, this time in the municipality of Bindoy.
The team from the Dumaguete City Bureau of Fire Protection, under the supervision of Acting City Fire Marshal Sr. Inspector Marlon K. Chomling, was composed of SF01 Earl Manny Uy and F02 Rogie E. Peñas along with LGU-Dumaguete driver Rolando Astida and mechanic Victor Giducos completed their task in Bindoy Friday afternoon.
Another team from Dumaguete City will bring more relief to the people in the affected areas of Typhoon ODETTE in the coming days.
Since dawn last Monday (December 19, 2021), Mayor Remollo ordered the mobilization and deployment of LGU personnel and vehicles to bring relief goods and water for the residents in the areas affected by Typhoon Odette.
