The City Health Office confirms that no new COVID-19 case was recorded Wednesday in all the 30 barangays and hospitals.
There are 32 active COVID-19 cases with 4, 430 recoveries and 148 deaths from January 30, 2020 to December 22, 2021.
A resident of Barangay Banilad is the lone patient reported to have recovered from COVID-19 and released from isolation.
Eighteen [18] barangays reported 0 active COVID-19 cases while 8 others are monitoring just 1-3 active cases.
The following is the breakdown of active COVID-19 cases per barangay: Bagacay [0], Bajumpandan [4], Balugo [1], Banilad [7], Bantayan [0], Batinguel [0], Buñao [0], Cadawinonan [1], Calindagan [2], Camanjac [0], Candau-ay [3], Cantil-e [0], Daro [5], Junob [1], Looc [0], Mangnao [1], Motong [0], Piapi [0], Poblacion 1 [0], Poblacion 2 [0], Poblacion 3 [0], Poblacion 4 [0], Poblacion 5 [0], Poblacion 6 [0], Poblacion 7 [0], Poblacion 8 [0], Pulantubig [1], Tabuctubig [0], Taclobo [6] and Talay [1].
Only 8 of the 32 active COVID cases are confined in the hospitals, 21 are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office while 3 are currently outside of Dumaguete City.
