City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla reports that about 127, 817 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have already been administered by the Dumaguete City Health Office to 72, 882 eligible residents using Sinovac, Astrazeneca, Moderna, Sinopharm, Pfizer and the single dose Janssen jabs as of December 16, 2021.
Among the vaccinated residents include 71, 083 who got the 1st dose and the 1, 799 who were vaccinated using the single dose Janssen jabs for a total of 72, 882 residents.
Dr. Talla also disclosed that 480 individuals received their COVID-19 jabs in the 3 vaccination sites at Pulantubig Gym, Foundation University Gymnasium and Robinson Place including those who returned to get their 2nd doses Thursday.
Of the 72, 882 eligible residents vaccinated: 2, 777 are medical frontliners or (A1); 8, 411 senior citizens (A2); 9, 241 persons with comorbidities (A3); 18, 142 frontline personnel (A4); 24, 104 indigents (A5); 8, 247 belonging to the Rest of the Adult Population; 1, 960 Pediatric (12-17 years old) and 194 who got booster shots were vaccinated based on the order of priority of the Department of Health.
