City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla reports that about 121, 397 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have already been administered by the Dumaguete City Health Office to 70, 083 eligible residents using Sinovac, Astrazeneca, Moderna, Sinopharm, Pfizer and the single dose Janssen jabs as of December 9, 2021.
Among the vaccinated residents include 68, 284 who got the 1st dose and the 1, 799 who were vaccinated using the single dose Janssen jabs for a total of 70, 083 residents.
Dr. Talla also disclosed that 180 individuals received their COVID-19 jabs in the 3 vaccination sites at Pulantubig Gym, Foundation University Gymnasium and Robinson Place including those who returned to get their 2nd doses Wednesday.
Of the 70, 083 eligible residents vaccinated: 2, 755 are medical frontliners or (A1); 8, 193 senior citizens (A2); 9,186 persons with comorbidities (A3); 17, 759 frontline personnel (A4); 23, 410 indigents (A5); 6, 820 belonging to the Rest of the Adult Population; 1, 960 Pediatric (12-17 years old) and 114 who got booster shots were vaccinated based on the order of priority of the Department of Health.
