The City Health Office reports 16 COVID-19 recoveries with 23 new cases and 2 deaths based on the latest release of swab test results, Friday.
The latest fatalities of COVID-19 are seniors who died while admitted in the hospitals.
Presently, there are 94 active COVID-19 cases with 4, 256 recoveries and 143 deaths since the pandemic affected Dumaguete City from January 30, 2020 to the present November 26, 2021.
The 16 COVID-19 recoveries are residents of barangays Bagacay [3], Balugo [1], Banilad [2], Bantayan [1], Buñao [3], Calindagan [1], Candau-ay [2], Daro [1], Piapi [1] and Taclobo [1].
Meanwhile, one of the 23 new cases is a 1-year-old infant while the oldest is an 81-year-old grandmother along with employees of private companies and several members of the same households.
The new confirmed cases are residents of Banilad [12], Batinguel [1], Buñao [1], Junob [1], Looc [1], Piapi [2], Poblacion 1 [1], Poblacion 6 [1], Pulantubig [1], Taclobo [1] and Talay [1].
