Eighteen COVID-19 patients have been confirmed to have recovered and will now be released from isolation but 5 new cases, 2 health workers and 3 members of the same household, were also reported today (Thursday).
Therefore, the number of active COVID-19 cases dropped to 89 with 4, 239 recoveries and 141 deaths since the pandemic affected Dumaguete City from January 30, 2020 to the present November 25, 2021.
The 18 new recoveries include an 86-year-old senior citizen and the youngest being an 8 year-old child and several individuals, who were exposed to earlier COVID-19 cases.
Meanwhile, the 5 new cases are residents from Barangay Banilad [4] and Calindagan [1].
Of the 89 active COVID cases: 63 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 12 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 8 are admitted at NOPH; 2 are confined at ACE Doctors; 3 at Holy Child Hospital and 1 at Negros Polymedic Hospital.
