The City Health Office reports a decline in the total number of active COVID-19 cases at 126 with 17 of the 30 component barangays managing just between 0-3 active cases as of Sunday, November 21, 2021.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla said that 42 or 33% of the 126 active COVID-19 cases are confined in the hospitals: 11 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 12 are admitted at NOPH; 8 are confined at ACE Doctors; 4 are admitted at Holy Child Hospital and 7 are confined at Negros Polymedic Hospital.
The remaining 84 active COVID-19 cases are handled and monitored by the City Health Office.
Of the 126 active COVID-19 cases only 53 were confirmed to have been vaccinated against coronavirus and will be less likely to experience severe symptoms requiring hospitalization.
