City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla reported that 52, 721 eligible city residents, including minors, have already been vaccinated against COVID-19 as of November 15, 2021.
About 95, 092 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have already been administered by the Dumaguete City Health Office to the eligible residents using Sinovac, Astrazeneca, Moderna, Sinopharm, Pfizer and the single dose Janssen jabs.
Dr. Talla also disclosed that 1, 241 individuals received their COVID-19 jabs in the 3 vaccination sites at Pulantubig Gym, Foundation University Gymnasium and Robinson Place including those who returned to get their 2nd doses Monday.
Of the 52, 721 eligible residents vaccinated: 2, 571 are medical frontliners or (A1); 7, 299 senior citizens (A2); 8, 858 persons with comorbidities (A3); 14, 880 frontline personnel (A4); 17, 541 indigents (A5); 770 belonging to the Rest of the Adult Population and 802 Pediatric (12-17 years old) were vaccinated based on the order of priority of the Department of Health.
