The City Health Office reports, Sunday, that of the 180 active COVID-19 cases 109 were unvaccinated while 71 were confirmed to have been vaccinated against coronavirus and will be less likely to experience severe symptoms requiring hospitalization.
Thirteen (13) of the 30 component barangays disclosed zero to just 3 active COVID-19 cases, while 17 barangays are managing between 4-17 active cases.
Sixty-seven (67) of the 180 active COVID-19 cases are in the hospitals while the rest are managed by the City Health Office.
The following is the distribution of the 180 active COVID-19 cases which are now isolated and/or under treatment:
Bagacay (7), Bajumpandan (1), Balugo (2), Banilad (11), Bantayan (11), Batinguel (16), Buñao (9), Cadawinonan (1), Calindagan (2), Camanjac (12), Candau-ay (7), Cantil-e (3), Daro (7), Junob (4), Looc (5), Mangnao [8], Motong (10), Piapi (9), Poblacion 1 (0), Poblacion 2 (3), Poblacion 3 (2), Poblacion 4 (0), Poblacion 5 (0), Poblacion 6 (0), Poblacion 7 (1), Poblacion 8 (0), Pulantubig (17), Tabuc-tubig (5), Taclobo (17) and Talay (10).
Of the 180 active COVID patients: 112 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 21 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 21 are admitted at NOPH; 6 are confined at ACE Doctors; 9 are admitted at Holy Child Hospital; 10 are confined at Negros Polymedic Hospital and 1 is presently outside of Dumaguete City.
