The City Health Office reports 33 new COVID-19 cases with 2 recoveries and 1 death based on the latest release of swab test results Saturday.
Presently, there are 175 active COVID-19 cases with 4, 052 recoveries and 138 deaths since the pandemic affected Dumaguete City from January 30, 2020 to November 13, 2021.
Among the 33 new COVID-19 cases are residents of Barangays Bagacay (2), Bajumpandan (1), Balugo (1), Bantayan (1), Buñao (2), Candau-ay (1), Cantil-e (1), Daro (4), Junob (3), Mangnao (7), Motong (4), Poblacion 2 (1), Poblacion 3 (1), Poblacion 7 (1) and Taclobo (3).
The latest fatality of COVID-19 is an unvaccinated senior citizen, who was hospitalized with symptoms of Influenza Like Illness.
Meanwhile, a health worker from another municipality and a hospital staff were the 2 latest COVID-19 patients who recovered today.
Of the 175 active COVID cases: 100 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 1 is currently outside of the city; 23 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 25 are admitted at NOPH; 6 are confined at ACE Doctors; 10 at Holy Child Hospital and 10 at Negros Polymedic Hospital.
