Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo confirms that Foundation University Gymnasium is set to start operations as the 3rd vaccination site tomorrow.
Meanwhile, children 12 to 17-years-old (with or without comorbidity) may now be inoculated against COVID-19 using Pfizer vaccines.
City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla, who supervised the setting up of the 3rd vaccination site in Foundation University this afternoon stressed that the policy requiring prior registration of interested residents both adults and children remain in place and that only those with confirmed schedules will be allowed entry in all 3 vaccination sites (Pulantubig Gym, FU Gym and Robinsons Place Dumaguete).
Mayor Remollo expresses his gratitude to the administration of Foundation University for making their facilities available to help accelerate the COVID-19 vaccination program for city residents and achieve herd immunity sooner as supplies of the vaccines continue to arrive.
To be eligible for vaccination those interested are reminded to:
1. Kindly register online at…/1FAIpQLSdBAk0b3JzLVv…/viewform or register at your barangay health centers so that your names will be included in the master list for vaccination.
2. Wait for the call from the City Health Office confirming your vaccination schedule and site
3. Submit copies of the Medical Certificate (if with comorbidity), for minors include Birth Certificate, Valid ID of the parent or Special Power of Attorney for the guardian
4. The parent or guardian must be present during the vaccination of the child
Vaccination for the children will be done by the pediatricians at NOPH.
To avoid overcrowding and to maintain order, only those who registered and with confirmed schedules will be allowed to enter the vaccination sites.
Walk-in is discouraged.
