City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla disclosed that 50, 104 eligible residents or 50% of the target eligible population (100, 542 residents) in Dumaguete City have already received at least 1 dose of COVID-19 jabs as reported to Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo, who directed the hiring of more vaccinators to be paid by the LGU and opening of a 3rd vaccination site that will ensure a sustained and comprehensive vaccination roll out.
The City Health Office added that 39, 845 of these residents have been fully vaccinated with complete doses using Sinovac, Astrazeneca, Pfizer, Janssen, Sinopharm and Moderna vaccines as of November 6, 2021.
Seven hundred sixty-four (764) eligible residents were vaccinated last Saturday in the 2 vaccination sites at Robinson Mall and Pulantubig Gymnasium.
Of the 50, 104 eligible residents vaccinated with 88, 150 total doses: 2, 709 are medical frontliners or (A1); 7, 909 senior citizens (A2); 9, 037 persons with comorbidities (A3); 14, 557 frontline personnel (A4); 15, 650 indigents (A5) and 242 belonging to the Rest of the Adult Population were vaccinated based on the order of priority of the Department of Health.
