There are now 153 active COVID-19 cases with 3, 854 recoveries and 124 deaths since the pandemic affected the city from January 30, 2020 to the present November 2, 2021.
An employee of a private company along with 2 persons with symptoms of Influenza Like Illness are the 3 new COVID-19 cases today.
Two female senior citizens with COVID-19: an 80-year-old and a 79-year-old with comorbidities died while admitted in the hospitals.
Meanwhile, the 54 new recoveries include 23 vaccinated individuals, 9 senior citizens and 5 children from Barangays Bagacay (4),Bajumpandan (7), Banilad (2), Bantayan (😎, Batinguel (3), Calindagan (1), Candau-ay (1), Cantil-e (1), Daro (4), Junob (6), Mangnao (2), Motong (2), Piapi (2), Pulantubig (5), Taclobo (3) and Talay (2).
Of the 153 active COVID patients: 108 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 10 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 16 are admitted at NOPH; 2 are confined at ACE Doctors; 4 are admitted at Holy Child Hospital; 6 are confined at Negros Polymedic Hospital and 7 are presently outside of Dumaguete City.
