All cemeteries will reopen starting tomorrow but only those with Kalag-Kalag passes will be allowed to enter from November 3 to 7, 2021 to prevent mass gatherings and COVID-19 infections.
Liga ng mga Barangay President Dionie Amores earlier inspected the cemeteries along with officers of the PNP, Traffic Management Office, City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office and concerned barangay officials to ensure adequate preparations.
Residents who want to visit the graves of their departed loved ones can request for Kalag-Kalag passes from their respective Barangay Halls at limited slots per hour.
Reminder to obtain a Kalag-Kalag Pass and be allowed entry in the cemeteries, residents must:
1. Request a Kalag-kalag pass at the Barangay Hall
2. Present the pass at the entrance of the cemeteries
3. Always wear face masks and practice social distancing
4. Submit to thermal scanning and use disinfectants
5. Observe the one-hour allotted time for visit
6. Exit at the designated areas in an orderly manner
