City Health Officer Dr. Maria Sarah B. Talla reports 7 new COVID-19 cases with 12 recoveries Tuesday.
There are 208 active COVID-19 cases with 3, 498 recoveries and 108 deaths since the pandemic affected Dumaguete City from January 30, 2020 to the present October 19, 2021.
Seventy-five (75) of the 208 active COVID-19 cases are confined in the hospitals the rest are held in the various isolation facilities.
Six (6) of the 7 new cases were persons who manifested Influenza Like Illness while the student was swabbed as part of travel requirement.
Meanwhile, the 12 COVID-19 are residents of Barangays Bagacay (1), Bajumpandan (1), Batinguel (4), Junob (2), Motong (1), Piapi (1) and Taclobo (2).
Of the 208 active COVID cases: 130 cases are monitored and handled by the personnel of the City Health Office; 3 are currently outside of the city; 17 are confined at Silliman University Medical Center; 31 are admitted at NOPH; 10 are confined at ACE Doctors; 10 at Holy Child Hospital and 7 are admitted at Negros Polymedic Hospital.
